Day 1. Start trip driving to the Elsen Tasarkhai /an hour camel riding/ ELSEN TASARKHAI-Khugnu-Tarna is a protected national park in the Bulgan province of Mongolia. The park headquarters are in the village of Rashaant east of the place. Elsen Tasarkhai is small sand dunes, 80 km long, continuously lies in the lowland of legendary Khugnu Khaan and Bat Khaan mountains. Sand dunes represents landscape, climate & ecology of Gobi Desert, in this region.
Day 2. Kharkhorin village and visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery Kharkhorin Erdenezuu Monastery After breakfast, continue driving to Karakorum, the symbolic ruins of the 13th century capital of the Mongol Empire. On the way, we will enjoy beautifully changing landscape from semi desert Gobi into forest steppe. Visit Erdene-Zuu, the oldest monastery, with 108 stupas, built in 1586. Then visit Karakorum museum and see the Great Mongol state period, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Ancient state period halls.
Day 3. Orkhon waterfall through Tovkhon monastery.
The Orkhon Waterfall water flows for remarkable 1120 km to the North and lies in the historically significant Orkhon Valley, UNESCO World Heritage site. The waterfall formed by combination volcanic eruption and earthquakes some 20000 years ago cascades down from a height 27 meters. There you will enjoy real central Mongolian beautiful scenery by experiencing riding a horse, looking nomads working with cattle especially with yak.
Day 4. Day 5. Ogii Lake. After breakfast at guesthouse drive to Ogii Lake about 320 km, is nearest lake to Ulaanbaatar capital city. This lake covers area of only 27 km.sq, it is the main destination for fishers and boating adventurers. It's one of the picturesque small round shaped lake of Mongolia. Deepest point is over 15 m. Its shore length is over 23 km. Enjoying hiking around lake and scenery about photographing.
Day 6. Today we are driving back to UB city, having lunch on the way via Khar Bukhiin Balgas
